Did you know that God is extremely creative? Did you know that He passed that ability to you? We are made in His Image. Wow, think about that. What did God do that was so creative? He made you. You are unique. He has given each of us special and unique talents. Some are crafters, artists, bakers, singers, and so on.
What do you enjoy the most? What inspires you? That is probably your God given talent.
"For we are His workmanship, created in Jesus Christ for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." -Ephesians 2:10
If God created us, and He is creative, then so are we. That's the bottom line. Have you ever wondered how artists are able to create such beautiful things? It's there God given talent, whether they are believers or not. They were given that talent for His Glory.
...and I have filled him with the spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts. -Exodus 31:2-3
"In all kinds of crafts" is not limited to paper crafting, art journaling, and other kinds of art. Maybe you are a builder, or make the best BBQ sauce in the state. (which is art too) Use your talents to bless others, God, and yourself.
By the way, He doesn't take away these gifts. They are yours for eternity. Have fun creating whatever inspires you.
